Or rather than something as convoluted like cricketers basing their statements on arms being supplied by a country to their army, it's something as simple as they are genuinely nice fellows and reluctant to make any controversial statement in this environment?

Presidential Level Security I am sorry, but I couldn't find an appropriate thread I could post them into. These are some truly fascinating pictures which I would every one to see. Please merge this later: "Presidential Level Security" offered to the English team at the Chennai Test: 25EC6B59-9EF0-AC01-067A57F7E3027B25.jpg_45289150_sniper416pa.jpg25EC6A4C-FD80-5923-D2553273CC847EC5.jpg Maybe our NSG, National Service Guards, can teach the Pakys what "presidential level security" really means.

To be fair, how can you stop an attack from these inbreds? You can give all the highest level of security, but even if these bastards make an attempt and fire at innocent people or players, they'll achieve their goals.

NSG couldnt save everybody either .. :((
But when my government said that it would give enough security, they arranged for 5000 police men and 300 NSG commandos around the stadium 24/7 for 5 days.

There was heavy security - Light-machine guns (LMGs), aerial surveillance, gun-toting commandos, road check-points, a safe house and an emergency exit plan in place. - No vehicles will be allowed on the roads 10 minutes prior to the movement by either team to reach the stadium from the hotel or while returning. - The team buses will be accompanied by scores of armed policemen and several pilot and escort vehicles. The police vehicles will also have LMGs. "The roads around the hotel have been blocked completely. Floodlights have been installed all around the hotel For more info, here is the link http://cricket.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Specials/England_in_India/News/Tight_security_for_Mohali_Test/articleshow/3850171.cms
