Congrats NZL for winning the test match

We certainly cant win this from here but we probably can lose it, unless NZ suffer a debacle similar to what India faced in the 2nd day of the MCG test in 2003, when we started the day on 330/4 and got bowled out on for less than 370. We're just done with day 1 and the 'win' option is already ruled out. Enough reasons to worry.... :nervous:

Hey! http://content.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/64060.html For some motivation: http://content.cricinfo.com/england/engine/match/361050.html Even better: http://content.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63920.html Stop worrying. India shouldn't be thinking of drawing this test yet. They should think about how to get the next 6 wickets, and how to win the test match.

i wud rule out the winning option depending on NZs first innings score..if they manage to get 600+ then yes winning wud be next to impossible..but under 550 i wud still harbour thoughts of us winning..lets see..shd be a good match either ways

You know that such wins are more the exception, than the norm. It’ll be great if we could pull one off like that, but I doubt if it will happen. We need to bat long and bat big, in the first innings, irrespective of what NZ manage in theirs.

We can surely do that again?

That we've fought back a lot in the recent times after being 3-0 in a series and having won a significant portion of our 'must-win' games, and showing a lot of grit in the 2nd innings to deny Australia a win, and fighting with a rearguard action with two fighting 50s by Dhoni and Harbhajan to not allow Australia walk away with a win in Nagpur, I think I'll back my team to win from any position. I'm not fineleg. I support them through the troughs and the peaks.

the current Indian team evokes supreme confidence from my side..i believe that they can win from any situation after the historic 387 run chase in chennai..well yes those victories mite be exceptions but that was with those teams, but it mite be a norm with the team under MSD :winky:

Yep, that’s the good part. This team is different, it wont buckle under pressure that easily. But, we’re on the cusp of such a great series win that even a slightest indication of potential trouble has gotten me all nervous and pensive…. :((
