Chandan Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Re: Australia vs Bangladesh - dream weekend matchup... Why on earth are we caring that much for BD?
King Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Re: Australia vs Bangladesh - dream weekend matchup... You guys may be surprised to know the rest of the teams are not treating Bangladesh that lightly as we are on this forums. Fleming has already gone on record saying Nz needs to be guarded against Bangladesh and wants to ensure there is not another loss to Bangladesh. He said NZ did their best to avoid defeat in the warm up game against Bangladesh but Bangladesh played better cricket on that day. Now that Bangladesh has also beaten India the other teams seems to do a bit more work prior the game. They are not anymore sitting pretty on their laurels and taking it easy.

KGWicK Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Re: Australia vs Bangladesh - dream weekend matchup... I am very surprised at how well BD has come about. They have played some very good cricket especially the bowlers. It is interesting to notice how well the young players in the team can make difference. BCCI should learn from this and try to consider as many young talent as possible. The match should be interesting but its delayed :tired:
gator Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Re: Australia vs Bangladesh - dream weekend matchup... The match should be interesting but its delayed i feel bad for u...
Gaurav Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Re: Australia vs Bangladesh - dream weekend matchup... Update 16:25 GMT: We have some promising news atlast. The sun is out of the clouds and the conditions are looking much brighter. And as it has been, the trend seems to follow. The supersopper has given away and the groundstaff are working hard to get it ready. Aleem Dar feels that the outfield conditions are improving everytime they have inspected till now. They would come out for an inspection again in about 30 minutes time and check whether the ground is ready for the game to begin. Ofcourse, we can have a 20-20 affair if we get the game to start before, or at about 18:45 GMT. Meanwhile what we can do is hope that the outfield gets mopped up soon. Stay connected for the latest updates.
