Desi Cartman Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 MUMBAI: Prime accused in Mumbai terror attack case Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab has asked for perfume, toothpaste and newspaper besides permission to walk in the corridor outside his cell. ( Watch ) In a letter to his lawyer Abbas Kazmi, Kasab requested him to seek approval of the court for these articles and also permission to walk in the verandah outside his cell. The letter, written in Urdu, was placed before the court by Kasab's lawyer. When judge M L Tahaliyani asked Kasab which newspaper he wanted to read, he replied, "Urdu Times". To a query by the judge, Kasab said in Pakistan he read Nawaye Waqt (Latest News). In the letter, Kasab said, " Janab Abbas Kazmi Sahab, I need a few things urgently. These are Urdu Times newspaper, a perfume bottle and a toothpaste. Also please seek court's direction to police asking them to deposit the amount, seized from my possession, in my jail account. In the letter Kasab pleaded, " Ho sake to hamein kuch der ghumne ke liye barrack ke saamne wale varandeh mein chhod diya jaye. Iske liye unko fikra karne ki zaroorat nahin ." (If possible I should be allowed to walk in the verandah outside my cell. For this, the security personnel need not worry because the barrack is enclosed on all the four sides). "Staying in one room, I am getting mentally sick. It should not happen that in future things may go out of control," Kasab said in the letter. THX_1138 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 he is entitled to personal hygiene, and thus, must be given toothpaste, but ignore the perfume request. as for any money found on his person at the time of arrest, must be returned to him upon his release, or to his kin in the event of his death during incarceration either due to the length of the term or a sentence of death.

Their letter for providing hot Hyderbadi biryani to these rascals is finsihed and will be dispatched any minute..

THX_1138 Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 I think he was being sarcastic. i wish he was... the truth is, he actually believes that the individuals he listed are actively working to destabilize this nation, or are pakistani sympathizers, nay muslim sympathizers. somehow moderation is not something he has learnt. the truth is, the difference between him and the taliban is that he does not have the balls to pick up a gun to violently defend what he adheres to. which really is a blessing in disguise because hindu extremists are well, not made of the same stuff as muslim extremists... while the later take on the irk of united states (albeit fail disastrously), the former contend with burning civilians in their homes and demolishing 16the century relics that mean little to anyone. to put it another way, if he were locked in a room with his contemporary from the other side, he would be the one emerging with a gaping butt hole. which is why i hope he will see reason and tone down the rhetoric for while he does reduce the quality of debate, this malfeasant provokes otherwise moderates and sensible folk into extreme responses.
