Sign Rohit Sharma up for a nother year of playing the quota player/ "talented but not performing" role for India. He's not cut out for the international level, an average of 27 after 40 games and a year of cricket is just crap. Get in someone more deserving, like Badrinath, Tiwary, or Rahane.

Tiwary has barely played. Badri has been the rock of the CSK batting. He's been forced to move up and down the order a lot, which is never easy as he hasn't been as settled. Rahane has been off and on. But you have to remember, you can't base selection ONLY on the IPL. Look at their domestic records and get back at me.

:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: What about Hayden and Raina ?? And Dhoni ?man' date=' get those goggles off.[/quote'] Dhoni hasn't been THAT good. Hayden has rarely carried on after blitzing the first 10 overs or so. It's been Badri in the pressure situations.

Have you heard of this guy named Irfan Pathan ? He has scored more runs in this IPL than Badri at similar average and higher strike rate. :giggle::giggle:. He has also taken 15 wickets. Badri is not even among top 30 runs scorers.

To be fair Badri played some very important knocks . Especially he was responsible for arresting few collapses. He won a man of the match. That should be reason enough for chennai to keep him. He is one of those guys who plays orthodox shots more than cowlashing you see from the likes of Naman Ojha Asnodkar and the likes. Also he is not your typical player who can tonk the ball around from the get go. His batting order is one of thereason why he has been having low numbers.

No one was putting down Badri before this cricketwoman came in and said Badri was the rock of Chennai batting, and Hayden didn't play after 10 overs and Dhoni wasn't all that good. :hysterical::hysterical:

It is amazing how you guys put down players. They are all talented in someways.
every single player in IPL is talented the question is how many are talented enough to play international cricket. All said and done IPL is a glorified yet domestic tournament apart from the likes of duminy, hayden its been all about indian players and the top players to emerge from current season of IPL are already in Indian international team.
