vvvslaxman
The funniest has been the war cry from several Paki fans on Cricinfo and some columnists demanding that Pakistan start their own PPL and invite international players to play!! I wonder who'd go to Pakistan to play? Who'd sponsor it? Who'd insure it? With their administrative skills they would probably fail in organizing a book cricket tournament . Link to comment
rahulrulezz
Heard Sialkot Stallions is a really good team.. supposedly won last 20 matches in a row and are champions of Pakistan T20 two years in a row... they really deserve to play in Champions league... Link to comment

Noone deserves to play in the Champions league. Its a private tournament organized by BCCI, CA and SA cricket. Its not a privilege to the other countries. Besides, How do we know that Sialkot Stallions are good when compared to the other teams just because they won in their league. Maybe they are the best among the worst. Its not like the IPL teams played against the SL team which played against the Aus teams. T20 domestic leagues so far has had minimum to zero interactions with the other country leagues. So there is no comparison, as of now, which team is better. For all we know, KKR might be much better than Sailakot. If India and Nepal only played against each other in soccer all their lives, India would probably have the most win % of any team. It doesnt mean they are the best. Link to comment
The Outsider
I feel foreign leagues should be allowed to hire 4 overseas players for the Champions League - will spice it up more. Link to comment

Yeah thats exactly what a budding domestic player who has given his sweat to bring his team the glory only to vacate his place for the ultimate prize as far as domestic games go. That will also make the clubs hire a player just for that 1 tournament which will make it nothing more than that World XI that played against the Aussies a few years back. Link to comment

I hadn't considered from the perspective of the domestic players. Link to comment
