Bro, you remember how Inzamam could handle pace of any kind? Imran said he had never seen any other batsman play pace with so much time. Link to comment

I will not say he cannot handle pace...he had his share of success against the quickies in the past but at the same time quickies are the ones who have troubled him more than spinners. spectre
So, no Tendulkar no Sehwag no Zaheer and no Pathan too. Hope they get rid of this mediocre performer till he comes back a better bowler he was And give chance to Amit Singh or Sudeep Tyagi Link to comment

Ram
Thank Goodness, Sach isn’t playing. He’s making a lot of sensible decisions lately, skipping most of these patchwork series’. Good for him, good for India. He needs to conserve energy to lead India to at least 6-7 test match series wins before he retires, preferably 2-3 of them abroad. But so many injuries leaves all of us in a bit of quandary though. After the early exit in the T20 WC, we want to do well in the Windies to mend some of the damaged reputation, but at the same time, we also want to rest some of the fatigued and injured bodies. There’s a good chance Zak and Sehwag aren’t fit. Maybe Karthik can come and Dhoni can play as a specialist batsman and captain so that he focus on his batting a little more. Its vital that he recovers his mojo with his batting. An in-form Dhoni will make this team VERY hard to beat. Link to comment
h4te
Dhoni shouldn't tour, period. He NEEDS rest more than anyone. Good decisions. riya
I agree with that .Dhoni shouldn't play .Make Yuvraj a captain bring in some young players .I so want to see the super Raina in team though. It is a good opportunity for him to train hard, sort out his flaws .He can, i trust him. Link to comment

People need to understand that anything above 140 kmph is tendulkar's nemesis and he is trying to avoid it for team's sakes B-> Link to comment
gaurav92
i think there is horribly wrong to say that sachin cant handle pace and bounce 1) Pitches in the Carribean are slow and low not bouncy at all so u may not see the ball flying off 2) Sachin has done very well in aus and england where the pitches are fats bouncy and bowlers are quite nippy too likes of glen brett johnson sir hadlee and others who are legends also feared sachin so dear Negative posters about sachin plz think twice b4 writing against sachin.....:emc: is round Link to comment

jf1gp_1
It is learnt that the senior batsman is reluctant to tour since he has not trained with the team for quite a while. . Perfect decision, no point playing meaningless ODIs BUT what a weird excuse, same was the case when he made his debut or when he cameback from all those injuries, what a lousy set of ppl around him even personal reason would have made sense compared to what he cameup with Link to comment
