With the unseeded pair anderson/dev varman looking to make it 2 sets each. They are leading the set by 4-2. This is heading towards 5h set. Good confidence booster though for Somdev Dev Varman. He appeared for the first time in a Grandslam Event. Unfortunately Australian open champions Sania Mirza/Bhupathi are in the same draw as Leander Paes. Paes/Black got a bye in the first round and are in 2nd round.
