King Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 All I can say is Pakistan :hatsoff: Unfortunately that nation doesn't deserve great results given the pain they inflict in other parts of the world due to some idiots and that is probably one reason why their players are not liked as much. Same players if they played for Sri Lanka or even Bangladesh they would be cheered all the way. Nevertheless they did great, given the start they had and the way they have peaked at the right time. Even I didnt rate them that much before the tournament but Boy they proved me wrong... Amazing bowling by Umar Gul and new kiddo M. Aamir.... Yorkers after Yorkers around 145km/hr... Amazing spell of pace bowling... combine that with the efforts of Ajmal and Afridi... It seems like they are here to win ..Will bring great joy to their country in the bad times....Best of luck Pakistan!! Hope you guys win the tournament !! Link to comment
