What you are doing here is essentially buying a bar of soap for 35 and selling it for 5. what i thought i was doing i s that india wins series so i pocket the difference above 35 also it means west indies lose series and i pocket the difference blow 5 explain me a bit with that outsider if you may please

It's for the win/loss difference spread over the series, so eve if India wins the series the market may settle at less than 35 or even if they lose the market may settle above 5. You have sold at 5 AND bought at 35. Say the market settles at a) 20 - You lose (20-5) and also lose (35-20) b) -10 - You win (5+10) but also lose (35+10) c) 40 - You win (40-35) but also lose (40-5)

There is no bet on Gayle being the top scorer, but there is one on his performance with the market at 56-61 points. 1 Run = 1 point 1 Wicket/Catch = 10 points 1 Stumping = 25 points If you think Gayle is going to get more than 61 points you can buy him at 61 and pocket the difference eg. 75-61. If you think Gayle is going to get less than 56 points you can sell him at 56 and pocket the difference eg. 56-40.
