umpire Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Actually I would say 7, as Best of 3 finals is kind of series We have steam rolled England, Lanka (twice in their den) Pakistan Windies I did not see the congrats thread. Congrats Dhoni. Has any other captain won 6 consecutive series??
rainy day Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 I thought it was the fifth one, anyways congrats to the Indian team.
riasat Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Congrats to the indian team...great job guys.... Although the previous 5 are well deserved, I think this one was a little lucky...heck who cares... India looks a little weak without Sehwag and Tendulkar, I am sure they will rock again once these guys are back...
graphic23 Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Well done but the toughest to beat are SA and Aus. I believe Australia was the first overseas team that this Indian team beat.
Ram Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Lol, there's been such a pall of gloom that has descended on the Indian fans after the T20 exit, that our otherwise excellent record has been conveniently forgotten.
Ram Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 We've had so many rare victories in the last few years... A win in the tri-series in Australia, a win against Lanka, in Lanka, first ODI series win in NZ. Once Sachin, Sehwag and Zak are back, this team can only get better.
Zap_Brannigan Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 6 consecutive series? Didnt we lose the asia cup or something ? Is this counting only the ODI "series" and not "tournament"? Can anyone list the series and the series scoreline quickly....
