There are some men / women I think who have an absolute fetish for a white person. I wonder why? If you replaced the white person with an african black person then the same people would express the nastiest form of racism. I am not sure what is the cause behind all this. What do you guy think? How do Indians stack up on this point? ..... But I think many Indians are still affected by safedi ki chamkar. I think there are many Indian men and women who think the most horrible thing in their life would be to end up marrying an Indian. :winky: Interesting discussion... wasnt able to follow this properly... :P trying to be at kaam. As Sachinism was saying.. peeps from here get married back in India. And amongst those who do not, they inevitably end up with asian born opposite sex...its rare to find mixed race couples. If the parents do not frown upon it extended families do, but thats not even a deciding factor for most of these guys anyway- they just want a partner of the same background. Ignoring the cultural element and looking at it practically, it makes sense if youre life partner was of a similar life outlook/background etc to you, and its rare to find that in someone of a different ethinicity. Not to say they arent nice people, as you say alot of them are great. You are just more likely to 'get on' better with a fellow asian. Religion (inevitably) plays a major role too. The other pont you make I kinda raised the other day when I said I do not find any black women attractive. Im not sure why. I have a gora mate who says the same of Asian women. Its not racism, but obviously to do with colour on a subconcious level.

I kinda agree with you here soods its true that those of us who dont marry back home end up marrying brit born asians here saying that mixed race marriages are infact alot more common now than ever... about the whole attraction thing i too have never been able to see the attraction with white or black men (unless its Daniel Craig :giggle) and the same applies to Mr CG as well!! then again there are also a calibre of indian guys who are simply only attracted to gori women so G my question to you is that deep down what would your preference be?? or does it biol down to personality in the end??
