No. McLeodgunj is the seat of the Dalai Lama and there is no way the area has a predominant Buddhist population despite being the capital in exile.

excellent ground to play test / fc cricket (not sure if it has international class dressing rooms, start hotels in the city etc)... pakistan played a warm up game here before that start of the 2005 series... thats the first time I heard about this ground... but for IPL, i'm not sure whether the beauty of the ground will be quite apparent during the flood lit matches.. they may organize only 4:00pm games may be...
