EnterTheVoid Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I have no idea what you are on about, but carry on. It's fun to read. Bottom line : Hussey averages less than 40 away. Its clear you DID NOT watch the game. Coming in at 153/4 odd and scoring (nearly) a double hundred is no joke. That too when people said he shouldn't be in the team. If the bowlers negated the 200 run lead through incompetent bowling, thats no fault of his. Btw, I am talking about THIS test match. I am not interested in debating the merits of his overall average.
The Outsider Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 Btw, I am talking about THIS test match. I am not interested in debating the merits of his overall average. Remind me again, what this thread is about? THIS test match (where 7 wickets fell in the last 3 days when he batted, 3 of them tail enders) or his overall average?
Sachinism Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Hussey was lucky to be there. Should have been out. Game would have ended with a result
EnterTheVoid Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Remind me again' date=' what this thread is about? THIS test match [b'](where 7 wickets fell in the last 3 days when he batted, 3 of them tail enders) or his overall average? Re the bolded part, thats somehow his fault is it ? This is about his overall average I agree but since you didn't watch this match, you can't seem to appreciate the significance of his 195. Without it, Australia most likely would have lost this test and Hussey most likely would have been dropped. A poor score in this outing would have spelt the end of his test career, quite an insignificant fact that can be easily overlooked, can't it ? :hmmm:
EnterTheVoid Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 :hello: Hussey is now officially the HIGHEST run getter for Australia in this series, not bad considering he wasn't even supposed to play.
Sachinism Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Brilliant come back. Always a class player
Pak_Forever Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Mr. Cricket truly he his. Brilliant and the best under pressure player. Shows his class. 195, 93, 52, 61, 116 are his last 5 scores.
