iHammad Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I had a question abt this. How do we do this and what cable do we need? Do we need to have a certain tv? Is this possible with a desktop? I was thinking wether the quality improves if u connect your laptop to the tv to watch cricket streams. Thx in advance iHammad:two_thumbs_up:
Cricketics Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Ihammad, i am moving this thread to chit chat after you reply next as thats the place where it belongs. And the answer to your question U need to have a svideo port or a VGA cable port or HDMi port. VGA and Hdmi transfer both video and audio. Svideo wire u might have at home as it comes with plenty of things. But that won't bring the audio of your laptop to tv. U would have to buy the Audio wire which is pretty cheap.. Look on ebay or somewhere.

Cricketics Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Sorry it doesn't I had a VGA audio combo wire if i am rite. But the solution to it is use the regular mp3 audio wire or stereo wire. Its like just 2 bucks.
Cricketics Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Can u connect ur desktop? u need to have svideo port on your CPU.. most of them do or vga port
dial_100 Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Buy a quality Video/sound card with RCA/S-Video and HDMI for your desktop. That will do it. The VGA doesn't take audio. You need to connect Audio separately. You can find lot of dual port connectors S-video to RCA Audio to RCA -audio etc. Have fun.
