That was expected. In recent times that is what we have been getting from our bowlers. Allowing opposition to score 300 plus consistently.

You know what hurts me most. Not the defeat. Not even close. Allowing Afridi to get away with figures like 2 for 39 against us. It was painful to watch Dravid marvelling at his leg breaks . We never paid him any respect. Why all of a sudden.

Nothing all of a sudden. India have not played Pak in almost 2 years and during that period Afridi has improved alot and can make into any ODI team as a specialist spinner alone.

He basically didn't try to unsettle afridi upfront which we always do. That is why he has poor record against us in all formats.

Gambhir is an excellent player of spin and I am talking about ODIs. In 20/20s, spinners have only 4 overs and dont try their variations and most of them just bowl darts in the pads.

He is always circumspect. It so happened He faced more than half the deliveries from Afridi.

there was a period of consolidation required once kohli and dhoni got out in quick succession . u are blaming someone who tried his best for the team. his partnership with gambhir and raina was best chance for india. stop these silly excuses and look ahead. gone is gone ..no use crying over the spilt milk.
