right now this is our best bet.we need to restrict the aussies to a low score .after CT we need to rethink our bowling options.

He has to play 5 bowlers for the same reason he played 3 seamers in the last match ie lack of confidence in the bowlers. He picked 3 phhhast bowlers since he knew that if one of them bowled crap then he will have to introduce spin in the first 6 overs. Now he doesnt have much confidence in Bhajji and more importantly he has lost faith in YP. IMO YKP will go out and Mishra will come in since he can not drop Bhajji in any case.

I agree I like 7 batsmen... India already has a long tail in RP , Ishant, and Nehra. Either of Raina/Kohli/Nayar/pathan can fill in the 5th bowler's role. India is a much balanced side with 7 batsmen

Besides batting is our only strength. It would be foolish to compromise it.

I dont think Nayar is an option since he doesnt have experince plus going by what M$D said it will be 5 bowlers not 4 bowwlers and 1 all rounder. So please rethink and post 4 bowlers who are dependable.

is dhoni out of his mind??? the problem with the bowling attack is lack of exceptional quality and also form. if he thinks that five bowlers is going to make an impact, he has not learnt one bit from the past failures, it does not work dammit and won't work. even 10 mediocre bowlers won't work. why do captains keep pursuing this dumb idea? it puts too much pressure on tendulkar. if the opposition gets to five indian wickets, the match is over. there is no irfan as well. when it is crystal clear that we have to win matches by our batting only, why does he want to weaken the batting? what are our five bowlers going to achieve? they are waste of space at best. this is a kamikaze mission.
