Dinx - the Jinx
India have chosen the tough option for their do-or-die battle against Australia tomorrow. They will play five bowlers, and ask their depleted batting order to stand up. http://www.cricinfo.com/iccct2009/content/story/426943.html Is there a need for 5 bowlers? I dont think so. Drop both Ishant and RP. Get Mishy and PK in their place.. Drop YKP to bring AN... Ask God to get some bowling practice.. Fill the 5th bowler's slot with Kohli, Raina and Sachin... Link to comment
Sachinism
The weak part of the team is still there :hmmmm: Link to comment

Gambit
An idiotic move which will appear to be even more idiotic if we end up chasing. Just drop RP,bring in Mishra. Link to comment
Cricketics
Yaar man.. Even if you play 7 bowlers, still we going to give away this many runs. Don't know why the Dhoni is thinking of playing 5 bowlers.. Link to comment
cowboysfan
have you seen the aussies play against spin recently?.its a good move ,hope it works. Link to comment

Cricketics
Recently Ponting and co have improved a lot against spin. Pointing is waiting for the ball and taking his time. He has realised and improved on the facing doosras and stuff. I hope he gets out soon tomorrow else he will be the key man. I would want to play Praveen Kumar Link to comment

ViruRulez
Abhishek Nayar, whom Dhoni described as a batting allrounder, is of unproven mettle I am a bit surprised at this statement.. so is Kohli and Yusuf of proved mettle :hehe: Link to comment

WeStMiDz
Playing five bowlers when three of them have as limited batting ability as Ishant, RP and Nehra do is simply a daft move. Simple solution as many have said is bring in Nayar for Yusuf and Mishra for RP. Link to comment
Texy
we're still missing the quality All rounder to take no. 7 spot that we once saw a glimpse in Irfan Link to comment
Texy
we need to drop Bhajji and bring in Mishra, also take out RP and bring in PK Link to comment
jusarrived
I am a bit surprised at this statement.. so is Kohli and Yusuf of proved mettle :hehe: the problem is , you can pick 2 n00bs in your top 7 ...Pathan was picked on the last game only cos he had relatively more experience. Dhoni has not much of a choice here, though am not a big fan of playing 5 bowlers in ODI' ...better than Pathan at no7 imo Link to comment
