Ian Pont Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Just to close the chapter on Atul Sharma for everyone who has shown interest. I would like to apologise to everyone here for what has appeared to be someone who has tricked everyone over his intentions - including me. Apart from disappearing owing me money, fans also know that Mr Sharma did not play in the IPL and the Rajasthan Royals confirmed he never showed up, nor did he sign a contract with them. He has vanished. I do not wish to be associated with Mr Sharma and fully regret being taken in by someone who even calls himself ''Conman'' on Skype. I am happy this person is out of my life but sad it cost me a lot of money and heartache in the end. I will never trust people again.
EnterTheVoid Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I just find the whole thing comical From him not bowling in a match, to conning you, to doing a runner You promise us the world, only to deliver an atlas.
EnterTheVoid Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Sharma conjob = The phaastest ever :winky:
EnterTheVoid Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I will never trust people again. Hey Ian, out of curiosity, how much were you conned out of ? And have you ever been conned before ? You've become the biggest laughing stock on ICF. :hysterical:
Sooda Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 So he did/does actually exist? I thought he was a myth, created to get us all excited. I feel for you Ian. Sorry mate.
Sooda Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 You shouldnt have even bothered posting this yknow and wed just not stop believing (as Journey might put it) would have kept expecting Atul Sharma to eventually turn for RR and possibly-possibly- India Now its all over. Sigh.
Ian Pont Posted October 3, 2009 Author Posted October 3, 2009 sree... why don't you contact Atul yourself and ask him why
Ian Pont Posted October 3, 2009 Author Posted October 3, 2009 You shouldnt have even bothered posting this yknow and wed just not stop believing (as Journey might put it) would have kept expecting Atul Sharma to eventually turn for RR and possibly-possibly- India Now its all over. Sigh. you never know..... but don't ask me
EnterTheVoid Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 You're a funny guy Pont. I am laughing my @rse off reading this. You made my day :winky:
Ian Pont Posted October 3, 2009 Author Posted October 3, 2009 Tried the number and it dosent work SHOCKER! So he's even disconnected that? It was working recently..I guess the lawyers have frightened him. The mail works though
EnterTheVoid Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Since Sharma did a runner, can you tell us how much you were conned ? 10 k ? 20 k ?
Ian Pont Posted October 3, 2009 Author Posted October 3, 2009 final question:did he really bowl fast? Now and again..yes. But I kept telling him he should play and prove it on the pitch. He kept finding excuses not to. You cannot force people....
Ian Pont Posted October 3, 2009 Author Posted October 3, 2009 Since Sharma did a runner' date=' can you tell us how much you were conned ? 10 k ? 20 k ?[/quote'] enough to make me have written agreements now and not coach on face value and promises.
DomainK Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Ian, I don't think you need to apologize as I don't think you have done anything wrong. It was a bad episode, forget it. And don't lose faith in people because of one bad experience. Don't make your other students suffer because of this. Good luck.
EnterTheVoid Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 enough to make me have written agreements now and not coach on face value and promises. So you got burnt pretty badly ? For once, I will enjoy a good hearty laugh with the padosis' Give us an estimate. :hysterical:
