Hmm but isn't it pointless buying one to play DVDs. I'll get a DVD quality picture for $600 :((
You get blu-ray players for under $200s now. It plays DVDs as well as blu-ray discs. Watching movies on Blu-ray is so unique, you will never want to see movies on VCRs/DVDs again.

I can't afford to replace all my movies at the moment, so I can't be bothered. What I may invest in is a blu-ray writer drive for the PC and I already have an internet connection :winky:

Yes' date=' Blu-ray rips as MKV files are all over torrents, rapidshare and usenet. The PS3 can play mkv downloads if you remux them into a Vob container as well.[/quote'] What software does it? And can the normal file converters convert MKV into vob or other formats? Is there a special software for that?

I don't have a cd or dvd or blu ray player. Even my used TV stopped working 3 months ago. I have a feeling I may not have a life. :((
Discover technology. Start by rubbing flint stones to create fire. You will be surprised how food tastes when cooked in fire. It will taste even better when you eventually discover salt.
