I personally have no belief whatsoever - I think its the most imperfect science going around these days. What are your beliefs and experiences regarding the same ?

However, coming from a marwadi family, you are bound to see many of the most ruthlessly practical minded people religiously believe in this cr@P. This is what amazes me the most.

The first sign of wisdom is to accept the beliefs of others.

But there are degrees up to which you would want to tolerate these things. If you do come to know that your immediate family people are being exploited because of these stupid things then one should interfere and try talking some sense into their head.

Talking about these things doesnt get one anywhere. I'll just say this : Everything is subjective IMO - people have different perspectives of life depending on their experiences and influences. Nothing is fundamentally sound is it? What may seem perfectly alright to one would be completly awkward for another.
