Well...Padosis have one nobel laureate in Abdus Salam though he was born in undivided India. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdus_Salam But as someone rightly said, it is the time to celebrate our success , not other's failures :eyedance:

Jai Hind :isalute: A proud day for the nation; India PROGRESSING; Padosis REGRESSING
Very informative post sree. You on other hand ask CG to stop spamming all the threads (a good thing you did) but in contrast you keep spewing your hatred towards our padosi's. Is it really necessary ? If they bug you so much why bother talking about them ? @ Topic: Congrats Ramakrisnan ji :isalute:

Brother - hatred and admonishment are totally different issues. 60 years ago we lived with them, now we are bitter enemies one hoping for the others downfall. We should hound them in all spheres of qualified actions, social, economic , political and scientific, we should stifle any progress there, only because they will use that progress to stifle and pull us back.

What twisted logic is that "brother" ? Isn't Pakistan doing the same at the moment ? Look what have they achieved over the years in trying to "cut down" India's progress. I rather focus on our country's development than trying to halt someone else's.

And is our country not developing? It is, we have made numerous advances. What they have achieved is progress on the diplomatic and political front. They have received billions in aid, just imagine what a sick mind can do with free money.

There is no need to compare India with pakistan and give them undue importance. we should compare with countries which are more advanced than us or our equals. Not a country whose annual budget is given from the American taxpayer's pockets.
Right, lets compare us to the Americans. After all they went there 40 years before us, yet we just used some of their instruments and know how to discover something they couldn't! Jai Hind.....

^^^ Talk about self-appraisal . In-fact we have nothing to proud of venkataraman's achievement as he is the product of american education system. We have a scientist in aryabhata who discovered that earth is globe in 6th century much before the world discovered. we have another scientist in varahamihira , who suggested that moon can have water and moonlight is reflection of sunlight falling on moon's surface in 6th century. And we have not produced more than one nobel from our universities , yet we rejoice just because he has an indian name, ::thumbs_down:
