How predictable cricket has now become as for Australia is concerned? This is their 4th consecutive finals and I think is also 28th or 29th straight win in the world cup Not one freakin loss since 1999 and that is freakish really. This world cup is their best I think, they haven't had even a little fight from any quarters. They have slaughtered the opponents on a daily basis. I hope this changes in the finals but they have way too much quality for Sri Lanka to even ruffle a hair let alone win the game. :shrug:

Re: 4th WC finals in a row It is their 28 th win in a row. I would bet that they will make it 29 th in a row. Barbados track is known have pace and bounce. So , I think it is advantage Australia because this will negate Murali. Simply put , Australia is a better team than Sri lanka.

Re: 4th WC finals in a row Well they could rename there domestic ODI cup ( i think its called Ranger Cup ) as ICC world cup and invite other countries or as someone suggested in cricbuzz, aus game should be 50/30. opponents get 50 overs to bat, Aus get 30.
