99.94
Alright whatever, if you wanr to deny that Warne could have done a lot of damage, go for it. Just remember Warne for a 6 for the match before as well. Link to comment

ViruRulez
Just to add check Warne's ODI statistics vs India http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/player/8166.html?class=2;opposition=6;template=results;type=allround Avg 56.26 BTW are we discussing the same Warne who used to give interviews that Sachin used to hit him for fours and sixes even in his dreams :hehe: Hope people have also not forgotten the Sachin vs Warne in Sharjah where the boundary ropes were looking too small for Sachin :winky: Link to comment
rishi008
when sachin doesnt score while chasing it is highlighted more...coz he is in diff league...ppl expect 100 from him every match...no one needs to argue that little master was and is better most of these pointings and lara... ppl compare afridi with dhoni....no need to answer those ppl....afridi is a mediocre player...if we play yusuf for so long...he would perform much better than him..but we dont want baggages in our side...we need performers...such mediocre players are made captain of a side...lol...good for their future.... Temujin Khaghan
even though i dont like ponting's attitude... there is no doubt that he was a force to reckon with in the past decade. Link to comment
saneindian
Talking about the Mumbai test of 2004-05 series, would the Aussies have complained if they had chased down 107 runs. Even on the worst of pitches, not being able to chase 107 runs is a crime and all those moans about worst pitch sounds a lame excuse. Fact is even if the pitch was bad, India played superbly despite being 100 all out on day 1. Link to comment

99.94
Yes.. by thinking that Warne could outbowl Clarke I am somehow being completely illogical.. There argument was never "Warne has bowled really well against India" was it? Link to comment
CSK Fan
Point is that when it comes to chasing (and choking)' date=' India is in a league of its own. Especially in India-Australia contests. For 10 years India could not win a game against Australia while chasing.[/quote'] How many countries could? Aussies were no 1 for such a long time for a reason. But you would expect a No 1 team to chase 270+ regularly, wouldnt you? Link to comment

He is saying Aussies could not chase more than 270 against India despite being #1 team for over a decade. Stop putting words in someone else's mouth. Link to comment

No, I am saying that our bowling is way better than Pak's bowling as we restricted Australia more Link to comment
