In a firm backing of India's position, the US has brushed aside Pakistani allegations of New Delhi's involvement in the ethnic strife in Balochistan saying there was no evidence to suggest any Indian "mischief" in the region. She also gave them the finger when they asked for US mediation in the Kashmir issue. She said that Pakistan's problems go far deeper than just the disputes with India and unless they gave up the ways of terrorism, they would achieve nothing. A couple of days before she was quizzed by a group of senior pakistan journos and her replies have been ruthless... here are a few.. 1. Pakistan has been getting billions in aids from US and its time that you guys stop asking for more and start planning for your future and look after yourself as a country. 2. Al-Qaida has had safe haven in Pakistan since 2002. I find it hard to believe that nobody in your government knows where they are and couldn't get them if they really wanted to. 3. There are issues that not just the United States but others have with your government and with your military security establishment 4. At the risk of sounding undiplomatic, Pakistan has to have internal investment in your public services and your business opportunities 5. You do have 180 million people. Your population is projected to be about 300 million. And I don’t know what you’re gonna do with that kind of challenge, unless you start planning right now 6. If you want to see your territory shrink [by allowing terrorists to expand their space], that’s your choice. Noone forced pak to fight the war. Pak started to beg and trade American $ for their soldiers lives. Pak was feeding these terrorists and now that they have grown bigger, they want a bigger pie i.e. all of pakistan. Enjoy what you sowed in the 80s/90s. Pak bred wild dogs to attack their neighbors and when the lease was cut off, they hoped that these dogs would just disappear ? and not come back to roost ? When Srilanka toured you when the rest of the world refused to, you guys ended up giving them zero security, abandoning them shot at on the road, then defaming them. The umpires were asked to apologize for not accepting the shoot out without opening their mouths. When US is literally feeding your country, you call them losers and abuse them. Your country is one of the most thankless country ever in the history. You can not take one single step without external help, yet the only thing you can offer to the rest of the world is hatred, abuse and destruction.
