CSK Fan Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 i can only laugh at this, how do you assume that Sehwag would have struggled or got out Just because Sachin was leaving them on and on :haha: i am out of it, maybe if some sane replies come up later with a good argument, its worth replying if jadeja or someone would have done the same thing, the board would have flamed him left right and center, and there would have been 10 threads asking him to be chucked out or retired Just because its Sachin, his followers are mum, hypocrisy at its absolute best I still dont understand why we are making a big deal out of wasting balls and playing maiden overs when we did not lose because of lack of overs but lost because of lack of wickets? RRR never went much beyond 6
Sachinism Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Sehwag enjoyed some pretty ordinary bowling from Johnson. Siddle was on the mark most of the time. But Tendulkar made very little effort in even attempting to score, I guess he has his reasons. If he took that approach, I'm sure there was a reason behind it, he's in a better position to make that decision rather than us. Tendulkar is good enough to change gears later in the game, he can't do much if a retard dressed in black decided to raise his finger for no apparent reason

The balance of the team would improve a lot after that and be sure about it.

I don't know how much of a difference it will make, but no harm in giving it a go

I am quite confident about this working very well for all the three batsman
Little_Master Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Gauti opening means a left and right opening combination which itself will make life a little difficult for the aussie bowlers...Hope Dhoni gets the point.
Jersey #10 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Even a younger kid would understand that he has been a big failure in this series and today's innings was the icing on the cake Both him and sehwag, thrown off the good starts he had - has put big pressure on the middle order everytime and they came up trumps twice and failed twice In ODIs, your top order should be the major contributor, else you are not going many matches I am not defending Sehwag or his reckless shot, but in the partnership if one guy is going great guns, the other one has to give him the strike to sustain the flow, if he is not capable of it at that point, or struggling Instead he was just holding one end up giving maidens Had Siddle been smashed by Sehwag, then Ponting would have brought in Watson or Hauritz and it would have been a different ball game Sachin although made up for it after that lackluster start he had, but the damage was done long back The problem with you guys is you push him to a pedestal and think he is beyond criticism whatever he does For me, he is another Indian player and he is bound to be criticized and praised like any other player, based on his performance, and its my opinion, so STFU You are one of those fans who expect a 100 from Sachin every single game! HENCE you are a failure! :fail:

Show_stopper Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I still don't understand why kohli bats ahead of Raina when one of the top players is sitting out due to injury?? The guy with more experience should get to play more number of overs..
bunny Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I still don't understand why kohli bats ahead of Raina when one of the top players is sitting out due to injury?? The guy with more experience should get to play more number of overs.. Because Yuvi and Raina dont have the technique to bat at #3.

DomainK Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I like Veeru Gauti opening but not SRT at 3.he can be at 4 with Dhoni at 3 If at all Sachin does not open, no4 will be better for him. But I think he should open. A few low scores can not falsify the fact that he is the best opener in the history of the game. And lets not forget that we won all out recent finals with Sachin opening and contributing significantly.

Sachin is having a few off matches but he usually does not play slow in the opening overs. What balance are you talkign about?
