Zimbabwe cricket (and their managing board) has been in a pretty bad shape for most of the last decade, top players leaving in their prime, inside politics and too much government intervention. Hopefully with now Alistair Campbell's takeover they'll start to perform much much better.

It's surprising to see Taibu, their best batsman coming so low down the order. He should come at no.3 or no.4 not below that. If there's a batsman in that team who can survive against quality bowling, it's Taibu. So him playing at no.5 doesn't make sense. BTW they dropped The World Record holder ? :surprise:

This is why ICC should never favor the two-tire system in cricket. Talented cricketers are everywhere and teams like Zimb. need to play bigger teams on regular basis to make them stronger and make cricket more interesting to follow.

I was at the game on Sunday, and I thought is was crazy that SA coudlnt bowl out the side after having them for 5 wickets. Real shocking and Sa also plagued with few injuries like Duminy and Kallis even whil ehe played. All in all, I think ZIM done a great job, Taibu is a real gem and I too think he shoudl come in up the order

They're gonna need another fight back and a half today SA scored 331/5 with Duminy making a 100 Zim 65/5 with Taibu on 33*
