He is a classic example for 'rags to riches back to rags' case. He was touted as the right handed Sobers - he can open the batting or bat in the middle, bowl seam up or spinners as required. He was rated as highly as Yagga Rowe but things went downside for him since the rebel tour of SA in 1983. More about the man... He signed to play for the Windies in the Kerry Packer world series. One of the three dropped by the West Indian Cricket Board because he signed for World Series Cricket. Went on the rebel tour to South Africa in 1983. Alcohol and drug abuse. Claims his son was murdered. Turned homeless a few years back. Was on streets begging for money a few months back. At present, he is on rehab. This is the latest pic of his Link to comment
