I don't get all the hype about ZAK..
He can bowl swing better than all your bowlers. Both conventional and reverse. Ricky Ponting didn't get the hype either before his last trip to India. Hence his dickish comments.

Despite the fact that Zaheer was talking trash first. With his 42 average against Australia, what Ponting said was true, unlike ZK, who ended up with egg on his face.

Yeah.. his 5 fer was incredible, truly finished us off. Oh wait.. nevermind. 170 runs is one of our worst defeats ever? I knew we had a rich cricketing history, but if that's one of our worst defeats we must be much better than I thought.

i too feel the same .ZK is all hype !! even i think ricky ponting is hyped a lot .. even bhajji is better bat than him based on the stats of last series played .. even clarke is a hype .. who either leaves the ball to crash on to his stumps or gets yorked by a spinner .. is he for real or a pretender ?? :hehe:

ok u are not concerned about 170 run loss with a rich cricketing history as yours ? .. ok boys we are officially #1 now .. the wheels are falling off aussie wagon .. their attitude is now like minnow .. even WI look like giving them a hard time .. :giggle:

Nah, not a problem. You are more than welcome. I was just responding to your ZAK is overrated comment. I agree that he has not had an amazing career particularly early on but since he has returned from injury he has been nothing short of world class.

You can't be number one forever I guess.. what do you mean by a minnow attitude? Just saying I haven't been overly impressed with what I've seen of him but I guess I don't get to see all Indian games (IND v SRL wasn't televised) and his stats tend to agree. Perhaps playing on flat tracks doesn't help though. Anyway congrats again though, it's your moment in the sun so I won't try spoil it. Also it sucks trying to argue on this forum because before I know it there are people commenting against me everywhere (as is to be expected).

we're not claiming to be number 1 forever. I'm sure everyone here knows sooner or later we'll be knocked off (most likely sooner with SA beating England) In the last year or so, none of the top teams have been dominating the rest. So I can safely say the number 1 position will switch between the teams for a while yet
