It translates to Tests are more important especially when you are at the top of the table. Only way you maintain the rankings is by playing more Tests. Priority should be given to Tests. That is why there is widespread criticism on BCCI for killing Test cricket. Australia answered it in the best way possible to the greed of BCCI. They sent a Z team to the pointless ODI series.
