It also helps that most people aren't working on Boxing Day. The Brisbane attendances were around 16,000-18,000 if I'm not mistaken. Not bad given that it's New Zealand. Not many people are going to take the day off work to watch that. Brisbane is also a fairly small city - 2 million people.
