suma25 Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Couple of months ago group of amateur artists had joined hands to paint the wall along the tulsipipe road for mumbai wall project supported by bmc.Sadly as is the case in mumbai few days after wards the art grafitti were vandalised . here is the link to the site where the pics of the art have been put up.Really cool ones especially the absolut mumbai, superman and 'chahiye' grafitti. http://www.missmalini.com/2009/10/26/the-mumbai-wall-project-d-for-deewar/

suma25 Posted December 19, 2009 Author Posted December 19, 2009 The wall has already been covered by bollywood posters yea that is the sad part . Put in a pic of any god and they will no touch it but this they will .The artist had complained abt this to riteish deshmukh and he got his movie posters removed .dunno abt other posters. In bandra u can see more of such stuff and which is not thankfully vandalised which are more awesome i will post the pics if possible.... btw did you guys chk the facebook link on the page some more cool stuff there especially the 26/11 logo and the mumbaillywood one .Awesomeness. some more cool ones to check out the ones from bandra
CricketGirl Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 love it!! shame it has to be spoilt with the bolly posters tho! :((
ludhianvi Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Looks nice ! I have seen such projects in other places as well. These two caught my eye:
The Outsider Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Some really good ones there! We used to get fined for making graffiti on our hostel walls and now people make careers out of it! :hehe:
ViruRulez Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Some good ones there. I thought making graphiti on walls was not a trend in India I think graphiti on walls is quite popular in some places of Aus and everyone allowed to make art on walls in some places .. yahan pe to pit jayega koi wall barbad kare to :giggle:
