I don't think they missed Tushara either . He's been well replaced by Wellagedraa . On the other hand it's India who played and win without the service's of Genuine Matchwinner's .

Load of BS, but was expected. These days every team suffers from Injuries. Hardly ever a team actually plays full strength. It's idiotic to blame it on missing players especially given that the same missing players have got their fair share of thrashing by the Indian batsmen in this very tour.

This guy always has something to blame for the loss. Always thought of him as a great chap, but his comments for not giving opponents credit are getting a little annoying.

Ditto! A comment suiting a national captain would have been "they played better than us in this series and thus deservingly won it". That would even have won him some fans. Everyone knows who was injured and who missed whom, no need to whine about it, esp since nobody could do anything about it anyways.

India outplayed Sri Lanka in both Batting and Bowling depts of the game. I dont know about fielding though :D At the end of the day, it was India who played better cricket and they are the ones who emerged victorious. Why is Sangakara making excuses for that?! They might've lost key players but even we had lost players. It's all part of the game! and the team which adapts to situations more effectively and who faces the challenges boldly gets the advantage and full credit must be awarded to team India!
