Bhaji is best spinner in the world!

I would take Swann, even Harris over Bhajji in this test given the way he was smacked and owned all around the park in this test. To be fair though, he is coming back after a back strain so maybe that's affecting his bowling.

Bhajji is struggling on these slow, low pitches, especially in the last few years. Its impossible to miss the trend of opposition batsmen of all nationalities casually ease him away when there's no excessive assistance for the spinners from the pitch.

Last 2 years stats, 18 tests, 88 wickets for bhajji, Next best for India are Zak and Ishant with 50 dd wickets in 16-17 tests. Given how batting friendly most of the traks have been off late, these kind of numbers aren't bad at all. In matches won, 8 tests 51 wickets, next best is Zak with 32 wickets in 7 tests and ishant with 28 in 7. Probably the only problem has been that he hasn't run through sides as he earlier used to Also , the performances of spinners in tests in last 2 years, Bhajji is still better than the likes of Murali, Mendis, Vettori, Swann, Hauritz and Harris. http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?bowling_pacespin=2;class=1;filter=advanced;orderby=wickets;spanmax1=26+Jan+2010;spanmin1=26+Jan+2008;spanval1=span;template=results;type=bowling

If Harbhajan is the best spinner in the world, I am very worried about the state of spin the world over. Lets not forget that Murali has not yet hung up his boots.
he may not have, but Sehwag has finished his career

2008 top indian test wicket taker, 2009 top indian test wicket taker, 350 test wickets , 3rd in Indian all time test wickets list, since 2008 took most wickets of any spinner in the world. Singh proves again his class. Number 1 spinner in the world:two_thumbs_up:

Just looking at the OP' date=' how on earth has Swann played on helpful decks?[/quote'] Cant recall many helpful wickets, 4 roads in the West Indies, early season green wickets in England and most of the ashes wickets didnt help spin. SA pitches didnt help spin apart from the batsmen like Duminy who gets out LBW to spin every time.

Exactly. Yet he still has a brilliant record after facing Australia and South Africa. Credit to him
I wanna see Bhajji Vs Australia at Edens Garden. Is it happening in the near future?

He will show he is number 1 in 2011. He will out gun Swann in there head to head this year. He loved it on SA tracks were they had some bounce. Believe it or not pitches overseas now are more conducive to spin then in india now. He is gonna thrive in England and cause havoc and shown Swann who is the best. In the last 3 years Bhaji has took more wickets then Swann! Swann had very poor tour of oz. While Bhaji had superb tour of SA. Bhaji already well ahead in 2011 wicket race:cantstop:

Bhajji is not just a great spinner anymore..He is a great allrounder and scores very handy and useful runs. usually more than our #6 bat lol
