ensd2
why anyone mention Virat Kholi ; we should give him a chance Link to comment
sangrock
My recommendation for the lineup: - persist with Mishra, who manages to pick up wkts (which is what counts) - keep Sree as well - VVS is injured but replace him with Bhajji - Dhoni replaces Karthik I think Ind can squeeze in a win by scoring around 700 runs in the test and with 5 bowlers hopefully we can bowl BD for 500 runs (avg 250 per inning) I agree. We should persist with both - Mishra and Sree. Mishra was gone after but he got wickets (7 total). Bangbros like to go after spinners - which is ok as long as they attack. Sree had a forgettable match - he should be backed and played in the next match so that his confidence is not dented. Leave Tyagi and Ojha on the sidelines. Zak and Ishant have to play to grow in confidence as pair of opening bowlers. Tyagi could have been given a chance has Sree played well in this match. Link to comment
Zap_Brannigan
Who is going to replace Laxman? Murali Vijay or KKD karthik ? Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Ofcourse Murali Vijay Link to comment
ViruRulez
Vijay without second thoughts.. he has performed well every time he has been given opportunity.. he at least has got a price tag on his wicket.. if he performs well for a few more test matches when given chances then I would support replacing even UV with Vijay in the future Link to comment
Rajan
1.Murali Vijay in place of Laxman. he deserves this because of his effort against aussies and SL . 2.Dhoni replacing Karthik. 3.Tyagi replacing Sree santh. Sree santh may break down midway and we would be short of bowling resources. If we dont give a break to Tyagi against BD , when will we give an opportunity? 4.Harbhajan can wait. BD have many quality Left arm spinners in their ranks, they would have brought up facing their spinners a lot.so, Ohja may not make much of an impact. Mishra has done well in this test.We have Yuvraj as an option for a few overs of left arm and Sehwag can be relied on to bowl off spinners for a few overs if required. I am sure Dhoni would not drop Yuvi, though Yuvi looks woefully out of shape/form. Link to comment

cowboysfan
i knew sreeshanth would break down, its high time BCCI stops selecting him for meaningless odi tournaments.I would also be in favor of separate test and limited overs bowling attack. This might actually improve our odi bowling.
