Good to see you change your opinion on Jaydev' date=' Ahmed [/quote'] Well I commented on what I saw back then and I have commented on what I have seen (scorecards) today. I know the conditions must have been very good for bowling, but not taking anything away from him. 7 wickets as 18 years against windes A are good!

As a Indian fan.......I gotta admit the best young fast bowler for the next generation is Mohamed Aamir. Hes a raw talent who can bowl 150+ easily when needed. But Jaydev also looks good but needs to be nurtured further.

O god this Jaydev has got me excited. Could he be the fast bowler we have dreamed of?
Hes still skinny, clumsy and raw. tbh hes worse then Ishant Sharma when he came into the limelight in terms of physique and bowling action. But time will tell how he will turn out.

based on what ? ...Ishant,Agarkar(to some extent) and Sreesanth promised a lot more than him when they first burst into the scene

Aamer is a real catch for Pakistan.

What a great start to his first class career!! He needs to be kept away from IPL and if possible BCCI should help him land a county contract post this A tour.
i agree with this but its wishful thinking.

exactly how many times has aamer hit 150 to say that he can "easily" do it. even dale steyn cannot easily hit 150, and he does FAAAR more often than aamer. even shaun tait has to put in some effort...

while agree Aamer is a very exciting talent & looks class apart from every other young bowlers for now , hes not really that pacy though . I have seen lot of medium-fast bowlers hit 150+ in Aus & Eng & the same bowlers struggle to hit 135 in subcontinent . If you had see him in series against SL home/away , he was bowling in the range of 128-135 & in two months he was bowling 145-150 in NZ & Aus ..surely the difference was speed guns !

I only watched him here in Australia and he really could rip through the batting order on his day. Yea he cant sustain 150 speed all day long, particularly in a test match.
