My eyes watered once while watching Chak De India .. when Sharukh khan during the later part of the view just before finals (in the film) is looking at the flag being hosted and said " Ajj pahle baar mei kese Goree (white) ko tiranga philate hue dekh raha hoon" .... it really gave me goose bumps.. :isalute:

for me it was LOC Kargil .. I didnt cry cry but was almost there ... I cant watch that movie anymore. To see how some people die for the country & then when realized how the netas mis-use their sacrifice made me feel so sad. we deserve better ...

The only time I felt a lump in my throat was in the climax of Life is Beautiful when they kill the father in the end. I dont think I ever shed tears in any movie. Tears dont come to me easily. The last time I cried was some 15 years ago when someone in the family died.

The girl is on an extreme side with all her bawling and all that. Personally I do get my eyes wet with scenes that are good enough to touch a chord. It is just about how much art one can appreciate and what kind of impact it has on you. I can easily get charged with many patriotic song, most of which were written in 60s and 70s. Songs ranging from Dekho Veer Jawano apne khoon pe yeh ilzaam na aaye, maa na kahe mere bacche waqt para to kaam na aaye. If you dont feel anything while listening to songs like that, well you are missing something in life and passion(for your country or otherwise).
