coffee_rules
Congratulations! He went past Javagal Srinath record (236 wkts) and is now in the second place after Kapil Dev. (in the pace dept) Never thought he would outlast Srinath when he started. Hoping he would get to 300! Link to comment
Karan114
Very well done to him, what a class bowler he has been these last few years for us Link to comment
MUMBAISKIPPER
well done zaheer..keep it up! Link to comment
ViruRulez
Congrats.. frankly speaking he seems to be the only bowler who is at least consistent in the test team .. I am especially disappointed with the spinners suddenly instead of the faster bowlers .. Bhajji seems to be on a decline while Mishra and Ojha are not upto the mark of our last generation of fast bowlers like Kumble etc. .. maybe VVS was saying the right thing Link to comment

Ram
To pass Srinath in the test wickets tally is no mean feat. Zak has been absolutely magnificent for us in the last 4 years. Link to comment
retterimp
kudos to him, never thought he wud get there because of his inconsistency eariler on but has come back really well. the two wickets yesterday were beauties. Link to comment
coffee_rules
Comparing him to Srinath's career: Srinath: Mat Wkts BBI BBM Ave Econ SR 4w 5w 10 67 236 8/86 13/132 30.49 2.85 64.0 8 10 1 Zaheer: Mat Wkts BBI BBM Ave Econ SR 4w 5w 10 71 238 7/87 10/149 33.04 3.31 59.8 11 9 1 5fers and 10fers seem identical. ZKhas superior SR and obviously since he seems to take more risks he suffers at average and Econ. Utilitywise they both have been similar when compared with the latter parts of their career. Who would you choose in your ATG team? I would still go with Srinath, as he seemed to have got more top order wickets against better quality teams. Anybody can get that stat? Link to comment
