punjabiplaya
I always have been an irfan pathan fan,i really feel he should have been in this testmatch and im not shouting after the horse has bolted,he should always be our 5th bowler option, well he should open with zaheer and i know its unfair to say but maybe ishant needs more rest till he rediscovers his pace and form, pathan is a talented batsman and should be our allrounder ok hes not as good as jaques kalliss but he could be our version! What do we do about bhajji? The biggest crime is how we dont prepare pitches to suit out bowlers and batsman like we used to in the 90s thats why bhajji n mishra were so ineffective!! Link to comment

S.Bond
Irfan is surely a better choice than saha... Bur in this particular match, with dravid and laxman missing i think india should have played kholi at 6.... Thier batting was already not as strong as before... But surely with sehwag, ghambir, dravid tendulkar and laxman you don't need a 6th batsman, especially if it's yuvraj.... SO better play irfan pathan.... Link to comment
Freedom
why Irfan pathan.... do you want to give batting practise even to SAF tail enders as well? Link to comment
diegovegaz
irfan should only be selected when he gets into some sort of rythm, which was definately not seen in the domestic matches Link to comment
