King Tendulkar Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 3 Pakistani Sikhs were kidnapped by islamic fundies and beheaded. What wonderful neighbours we have!
King Tendulkar Posted February 21, 2010 Author Posted February 21, 2010 Tines say 2 but NDTV say their sources say 3 http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/pakistan/Pakistani-Taliban-behead-2-Sikhs/articleshow/5600667.cms
Bumblebee Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 RIP these MOFO mullahs, what else can u expect from them? feckin sickos!!
Rajiv Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 It's futile to blame Taliban on this. They are not hypocrites, they say it openly that they are killers and they practice this type of religion. The issue here is that most non-Muslims in Pakistan want to get outta there but where do they go? does India have a simple online refugee application and that too from Pakistan. We can't blame Indian govt too as ultimately the paperwork comes from Pakistan and if 90% are genuine, the rest 10% can hurt us and spoil the case for future refugees Upon that, these people have their jobs, businesses, family ties and other commitments so its a huge task to simply emigrate in a jiffy. You risk a lot especially when you are not educated I believe it's their misfortune that their ancestors chose to stay back and especially sikhs as they can be easily spotted. It ha to go back to "Jaan hain to Jahan hain", to save their lives they have to cut their hair and shave to escape death
THX_1138 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 lets take a moment to examine our own nation... have we never had incidents of communal violence? pakistan is a nation at the junction of collapse, we neednt take a piss at them, but instead must strengthen the institutions that make us a better nation.
Rajiv Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Please don't forget that we are talking about Taliban, Pak itself doesn't have any control over them
Rajiv Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 err..we wanna get away from hardcore religious tones here plzz Punjabi, plz try again
punjabiplaya Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 sorry rajiv paaji! was angry but im sure you agree with my sentiments? will post some jokes lol
EnterTheVoid Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Pak itself doesn't have any control over them That is not true Rajiv, watch the following video for some honest answers: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5U2Rcc0uC8Q]YouTube- Riz Khan - Pakistan: Heading to civil war?[/ame]
Rajiv Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 ..not total control, ultimately its a dirty nation - some are bad, some a worse

We can not, and should not, become immune to plight of our Hindus and Sikh brothers who live in our neighbouring countries. Please do note that I have not mentioned Christian, not because I have any less affection/sympathy for them, but because there is a chance that a Christian antagonism in Pakistan would be addressed by other nations. Getting back to Hindus/Sikhs India, and Indians, need to address it and atleast start a thought process regarding the same. More often than not we end up taking this issue as a way to score brownie points. Not to mention the loony brigade uses it as an excuse to persecute fellow Indian Muslims with a - Hindus/Sikhs are dwindling in Pakistan/BD but look at how Muslims have prospered in India. Also knowing the general thought process of refugees I wont be surprised if the Sikhs/Hindu migrants actually bring lot more hardwork to the table as compared to regular Indians. People who have lost everything tend to simply be more hardworking, generally speaking. xxx
Rajiv Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I hear ya but there is so much mistrust that one can contemplate a fake family coming over, where the grandpa to the kid has an anti-Indian agenda
ViruRulez Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 RIP These Taliban dogs need to be bombed to hell .. they are the biggest scum on earth in the world's most scum country

I'm not sure we command the moral authority for that as some western nation might. Although i'm supremely confident any Hindu/Sikh would be better off in India than in Pakistan, any Pakistani leader can bring up 1984, 1992, 2002 or the word 'dalit' to dismiss any possibility of a migration. Minorities are important for them; the white stripe in their flag represents the minorities and some bragging rights on the international stage, however superfluous they might be. We're better off taking any requests for citizenship on a case by case basis if at all someone from across the border wants to apply.
King Tendulkar Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 Just practicing their religion ... you got a problem with that dsr :hmmm: ? You are correct, they were only following their religion. I am wrong to criticise them for that. As apparently they resisted conversion to Islam, thus under islam they were rightly be headed.

Ransom demand Officials in Khyber say Jaspal Singh was among seven Sikhs travelling in the tribal district a month ago when a group of armed men tried to kidnap them - but four of them escaped. Later, the family of Jaspal Singh received a ransom demand for 20 million rupees ($235,000) to be paid by last Saturday. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/8527614.stm It happens everywhere , kidnappers kill if the ransom is not paid or kill one or 2 of them to create a terror so that they can get what they want.
King Tendulkar Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 Nope reprts also suggest they refused to convert and were beheaded due to this. As family went to negotiate and were simply handed back the be headed body. They also imposed 'jiziya' or religious tax on sikhs/hindus last year, which led to kaffirs fleeing these areas. It seems they were right to run as shown by these beheadings. Money is not the motivation but islamic law is. And the imposotion of their beautiful religion on all
