Bublu Bhuyan Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 None of the stroke makers would ever make it to such a list if you ask this question to fans who have understood the question properly. Being a great batsman doesn't qualify him being hard to dismiss. Guys like Sobers, Richards, Sachin, Lara, etc wouldn't make such a list. Mine would be - Sunny Gavaskar, Geoffrey Boycott, Ken Barrington, Rahul Dravid and S. Waugh (with all the players in their prime). The above players bar Gavaskar are not even good enough to lace the boots of guys like Sobers, Richards or Sachin but they specialize in one thing - DEFENSE. And that's hat one needs to look at while picking batsman who'd play for their life.
