Just dislike the way they seem to be on a mission to somehow show us how we are ourselves responsible for the stuff happening there to us (ref: John Brumby trying to generalize while talking about the guy who burnt his car for insurance). They should spend more time on taking action against the perpetrators of racial attacks than trying to find an Indian hand & fault to stuff. Its still not proven in court that this guy is guilty. Hence my comment. Having said that, if this guy is indeed guilty (its not proven yet in their court), they should cut his balls off and parade him naked in Afghanistan All cases where kids , murder , kidnapping etc are involved always get front page coverage. You dislike the way Aussies are behaving what do you think "they " see the way Indian press is behaving. I read the TOI immidiatly and they mentioned " A man of Indian origin was arrested for the murder of an Indian boy " so the victim is an Indian and the murderer is of Indian origin , ashamed ? I dont think they should be but when they present that every crime in Aus against Indians is racially motivated then the Indian press doesnt have much space to hide. ( I read the same article again and they have changed it now to Indian man) From what I have heard from the locals about the kid who was stabbed to death, he also had a dispute with another Indian and he had been threatened the week before he was killed. This is all unconfirmed but imagine if this also turns out to be an Indian killing Indian then how would the journalists feel who are quick to label everything racist. This is noit local police station of Bijapur where they will pick up 5 kids from the nukkad and beat them so they confess to the murder or provide information. There is a system and it has to be followed. BTW there is racism but that doesnt mean every attack is racist.

Would you agree? Imagine all the NRI's in australia or anywhere else who live peacefully and have adapted to the country lifestyle now are portrayed negatively by because of the actions of some fools trying to benefit themselves. Its just like the racism analogy, we all know its only some people are racists but we in India just mass generalize the whole of Australia of full of racists. Its same things that is going to happen here in australia except its the public of view of Indians in general. Its true. The property prices in Punjab have gone through the roof so a lot of ppl from the villages started to come here to just be here. They enrol on dodgy courses and try to get PR and drive trucks etc. I have no problems with people from Indian villages come here but the issue is that a lot of them become illegal migrants, they do not know how to adjust in the society in general just like any other villager from India. I see these guys playing music on their phones in the train and not use headphones, i have seen many travel without ticket , some of them stare at the women so bad that even I feel like slapping them. Scratching balls is like the fav pass time Once I was coming out of the station and saw this girl throw the flyers on the street and I just stared at her since the bin was 5 feet away. The girl walking with her saw me & she looked at me and tore the papers and threw it on the street. Just to show me :finger: The problem is not where they are coming from , the problem is that they find it harder or refuse to live within the laws of this land. Right now its punjabis but tomorrow it could be people from UP. The background is not the problem but the education is. BTW I am also a himachali-punjabi

They're intelligent (yes they are, their sense of humour masks that) and they are very emotional and patriotic as well. They work hard, party harder and enjoy themselves wherever they go. Punjabi immigrants ( et Sikhs ) has been from a long time, so long we have 2nd-3rd Gen outside India Some do it just to get out of India, I went to a Detention center to pass a parcel to a guy form Chandigarh who landed at Toronto and claimed refugee status. He wasn't from a poor family, just had to other way to Canada. The guy panicked & took him to the hospital and on the way ran out of petrol n thought the kid is dead anyway so he dropped him on the side of the road and disappeared. Flaws : he could have called an ambulance , it doesnt take 3 hrs to reach hospital unless he lives in the outback, he had the kid in the trunk , the kid was still alive when he left him to die on the side of the road.
