Like I said previous. Bradman is a great historical figure of cricket, a pioneer of cricket. But reasons outlined many times before. No way a 30s player can be classed as greatest ever. Sorry place in history they have but no more then that!
Einstein is a great historical figure of Physics, a pioneer of Physics. But reasons outlined many times before. No way a 30s Physicist can be classed as greatest ever. Sorry place in history they have but no more then that!

So when you have seen Bradman bat? Give specifics on any live games you have seen or any TV footage you have seen of him?
How much live action or TV footage have you seen of World War I? I say the Gulf War was bigger and more deadly because there was live footage and TV coverage of it. :hysterical:

Comparing science to sport!!! Bizzare! Although if want to go down that road. Then back then countries like India had not developed science infastructure. Now we are super powerful in science and produce many mini Einstein. Thus even then the science field was less competitive then it is now!

You are going of in to strange tangents!!! But yank army now would massacre any armys from world war 1 period! Or do you think otherwsie? In fact even tin pot armies from places like Iran would destroy an army from world war 1 The more you come up with these bizzare tangents the more you support my case. As the old time stuff is simply non comparable with modern day stuff. Even trying to compare is embarrasing. Yet in cricket some are trying to display 30s as superior.

O dear outsider now believes world war 1 armies would beat the 2010 army in a war! This is getting silly. What next Alexander the greats army would beat USA army 2010?:haha: The world has moved on since 1900s Outsider. Things have improved. Or do you disagree:hysterical: Talk about being stuck in a time warp. By the way there is footage of world war 1. Although admittedly did not see it live:--D

Finally, realization has dawned upon you that Tendulkar is a mini Bradman - I am okay with that. Congratulations on your awakening. :hatsoff:

As in Einsteins time there was only 1 einstein. Now there are so many who are as good and miles better then Einsteins that they are only minis:cantstop: No how idea how this contributes to Bradman bootlickers cause, but anyway!:((

Again no idea what connection this has to this thread? Apart from proving things are significantly more advanced then decades back.

I am not the one who thinks a batsman from 80 years ago would step out of a time machine and be the best batsman in 2010 as you have stated. Now that is embarrassing! Even though your fellow union members won't take you to task for that lunacy, there will be plenty thinking that it is lunacy what you stated

Sooda the pitches in NZ are some of the most difficult to bat on .... you need to come out of this brainswashing that pitches in the old days were demons. Its a result of decades of brainwashing ... I put up stats earlier in this thread to prove that. And the crap bowlers that you see today still have far better bowling avgs and strike rates than those from 30s and 40s. Check out the other thread ... "reducing cricke to numbers" ... there is a lot of stuff there about this peer business.
Heh I just mentioned NZ by way of example, as Aus played NZ recently...yeah NZ can be a hard place to bat..wonderbras and all The point of my post was simply that NO Bradman would not replicate that scale of success if he played nowadays if he was to be got in on a time machine. (He might do darn well though) If he was born in the 70s or 80s he might have gone on to hone that god given talunt to the nth level and be a great and average loads However that would NOT be the way to make this greatest batsman debate I dont think as the human race naturally makes progress- the only way to do so is 'in the context of the eras where they played'.
