fineleg Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 That match. I saw the scorecard and was like OMG. And then read the report.
mhr123 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 ohh hang on Bumper ... I do know the reason why Bodyline was the baap of all tactics since WG's beard got longer than 1mm .... and the answer lies in a test match that happened more than 40yrs later between Ind and WI where 4 batsmen remained absent . Apparently they were sh!t scared that Bodyline would finally hurt them grievously because it hadnt done that till then ... Heres the scorecard of that mother of all matches : http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63162.html Bodyline Lol... bedi declared the 1st Inngs @306 to void facing MM/Holding...:cantstop:.. now he is the one who talk sh1ts whenever he is on camera..

King Tendulkar Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 50 Test Tons. Unbeatable and world record. Amazing. No doubt Sachin proves once again he is the greatest ever!! GENIUS!

DomainK Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 http://www.smh.com.au/sport/cricket/whos-the-greatest-tendulkars-halfcentury-of-centuries-relights-debate-20101220-1936e.html#poll The poll is closed now and the final tally was 67% to SRT .... the resident thekedar of "cricket gyan" will tell us how it means nothing as the 1000s who voted for Baasu would be morons. I was about to post the same. That should be the last nail.
Bradman99 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Obviously a lot of people are gonna vote Tendulkar cause they've never seen Bradman. Also, the world has 1 billion or so Indians lets not forget.

LOL I was going to post this yesterday, but didn't just so this thread wouldn't be bumped up again

That should be the last nail. I also very nearly posted this but then I thought this is one fact thats been pretty well established by now (that Goddy is better than Bradman) so I thought there was no need to post this :--D

Also' date=' the world has 1 billion or so Indians lets not forget.[/quote'] Lets not underestimate their wisdom just because they have never seen Bradman. Most cricket fans have not seen Bradman. And lets not forget that it's an Australian news paper. Naturally the majority of visitors would be Australians.

No!! this is a conspiracy by the worshipers of Sachin to put him ahead of Bradman in the poll - thats why this poll was conducted and we have seen the results now :hysterical::hysterical:

But keep in mind, anyone can access most sites on the net and you know what fanbois are like, soon as they would have found out about it, they would have been spreading the word - 'Everyone go vote Goddy'
CSK Fan Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 But keep in mind' date=' anyone can access most sites on the net and you know what fanbois are like, soon as they would have found out about it, they would have been spreading the word - 'Everyone go vote Goddy'[/quote'] Actually most sites, including cricinfo, which holds such polls, has regional filters were they give weightage according to the population of the country from where the votes come. don't know whether this poll used it though

A large part of that billion cant afford meals twice a day, forget about a computer. Out of those who have used a computer barely know the basics after spending a good amount at the local computer training center. Those who use it regularly have access to one in office and use it for official job. A very small part of the Indian population has the kind of netizens who have the time and money for forums etc and going to random websites to make Sachin win in some online poll. If you count such internet users, you will find that the developed countries actually have larger numbers than India. Indian can not influence online polls like we think we can.

Good points raised. This is not applicable to the Bradman Bhakts why exactly ? Most are probably dead :dontknow:
