I think you can..i mean the players aren't that rich to own a team...but the owners can play as the 'catchment area players'...so we can see Mr. Ambani or Mr. Mallya taking guard in the next game :hehe:

If he plays -- MI would do well, attract more sponsors, raise ticket prices - contributing to the bottom line of MI -- which means more to the bottom line of Sachin (which is already fat anyways :-))
