coffee_rules Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Any ideas how to fix it. Any application run shows that error and my PC is infected with his trojan/virus. I tried to install malware bytes, but that ****ing thing is not letting me install anything. Anykind of anti-spyware is not being allowed to run. I can run firefox. Are there any tools that run online that can run in a flashmode to scan for viruses on my PC?

rahulrulezz Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 lol..I got it 2 month earlier...Hoolllly $h!t, it screwed my computer over.....I had to eventually reformat my computer...My malware byte, Spybot couldnt run either...I tried everything and I consider myself good in IT and computer... My suggestion....Save your data and reformat your computer
rahulrulezz Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 o ya dont click on any fake alert or as a matter of fact any pop box(including System Update, Messanger)..they are actually part of that virus. You will recieve lots of fake warnings which will look similar to real stuff say "System Upate" or Antivirus.. DO NOT CLICK on them
bhanu Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 it used to happens to me too and it is very bad if u got family computer cuz it literally hijacks ur browser and redirects to the site so u buy there softwares...i say get avast free version and do bootscan...

I also had my computer passwords etc. hacked once though I managed to get my accounts etc. back later .. if you are concerned about safety then install a firewall .. if you dont want to pay then go for a free firewall .. I would advice Comodo Firewall + Antivirus + Full Online Protection .. it is free of cost and it will be enough to let you be safe .. in some websites, there can also be javascript virus etc. and so always use noscript addon for firefox .. you might feel a bit uncomfortable at the start with a firewall as you would need to allow unauthorized programs to run but once your usual programs are allowed you wont face any problem.. I highly advice Comodo security solution if you want to go for a free software after your computer is formatted/fixed You can download it here http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/ Go for the left one which says basic. That basic is more than enough for any normal user as it Firewall Protection + Antivirus + Proactive Defence .. the latest update files get updated automatically nearly everyday and so you can be safe .. you can also opt for another free antivirus in addition to this combo if you want to be doubly sure after safety .. I advise you to go with the Antivir free AV if you want a free one .. that should be more than enough to keep your computer safe
