Sujan Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Sunday, April 04, 2010 (CricIndian): Amit Mishra's 3/32 against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 35 of the 2010 - Indian Premier League has placed him on top of the competition's wicket takers list. The Delhi Daredevils spinner has picked up fourteen wickets in nine games at an average of 16.85 and an economy rate of 6.94 runs per over. Muttiah Muralitharan is second on the list of highest wicket takers. Murali has picked up twelve wickets in his nine games this season. Never expected Mishy to pick up these many wickets. Well done..

Diabolos Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Wish Mishra could bowl the same when he plays for the national team! For that, he needs to be given the chance. Don't know what the selectors were thinking when they selected Chawla. What has he done! Go Mishy! :two_thumbs_up:
saneindian Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 For that, he needs to be given the chance. Don't know what the selectors were thinking when they selected Chawla. What has he done! Go Mishy! :two_thumbs_up: In the chances he has got so far, barring his debut match and the last test he played, he has been far from being effective. In international cricket, he lack control, doesnt turn his leg spinners as much and bowls a 4 ball almost every over. May work in IPL , but just not good enough for int'l cricket. Hope he gets more confidence from his IPL performance and does well for the national side too.
Sachinism Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Well deserved, he's bowled well. Selectors have f'd up :((
