911 Awareness for Surrey, BC Indians

An awesome laugh early in the morning while driving to work This came on the radio. So, India Country Code is 911 and to dial Outside Canada is 011 Some City in Inida ( maybe Chandigarh, the area code is 1 ) so many Surrey, BC Indians should dial 011+91+1 but accidentally, they sometimes forget 011 and dial only 911 + the number and there goes DISPATCH with cops near ur place, its costing the cops lot of money So they decided to make some kind of awareness and request ppl to dial 011 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Huh ? India country code is 91 not 911. In any case even if the local area code in India is 1, I think most subscribers disallow direct international calls in US . I guess it is different in Canada.

I did this once accidently lol. But nobody came to my house as I just told them that this was a mistake and there is no emergency.

lol.. Most pincode for cities in Punjab and Haryana starts with 1 ...I almost dialed 911 once but quickly hanged up...

LOL...I've never dialed 911 by mistake but school kids are constantly told by their teachers to dial 911 if there is any parental abuse :giggle:

I have done it myself. Instead of 0 i pressed 9 and dialed 911. Hung up the phone. They called back. Told them everything was fine.

Yup, BC Waale..but atleast we do it by Mistake, toronto crime rate invites normal 911 calls :eyedance:
