SachDan Posted April 21, 2010 Author Posted April 21, 2010 Man he's just turning it on when it matters the most ! Batting, bowling, fielding..he's excelling in every department
Ram Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 You can debate over the relative merits of his performance right through this tournament, but one thing you have to admire about this man is his attitude. Whenever he has a mike in front of his mouth, he always seems to say the right things. He always stresses on doing the basics right, which is almost very Un-West Indian like. He talks about team effort, giving 100% commitment on the field ,etc. That is the sort of player you'd want in your team, someone who understands the value of getting the small things right. I still think that at $2.5 m, he's extremely over-priced, but he has been a vital part of the MI campaign, especially coming into the knock-out stages.

But let's not forget who is playing under. The captain himself sets example for conduct and levelheadedness. Even Bhajji seems to have cooled down a lot.
