Lalit Modi Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 How come nobody is blaming the pitches at DY Patil Stadium? Its a shame that the 4 important matches of the tournament are being hosted in this stadium... @dinakkar, DY Patil Stadium was voted as the best stadium experience at DLF IPL Awards (http://www.iplt20.com/awards.php). We are dedicated to providing the best viewer experience, and DY Patil Stadium was the obvious choice.
Sachinism Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Who said 160 has to be scored for it to be a good game? :dontknow:
diegovegaz Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 not every T20 game requires you to go bang bang make a decent score by some cricketing shots bowl in good areas, and defend the total simple
Sachinism Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Anyways if you saw the match, you'd know DC batted quite poorly today
Dinx - the Jinx Posted April 24, 2010 Author Posted April 24, 2010 according to LKM, a match that has fewer DLF Maximums cannot be considered a Citi moment of success...
Precambrian Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 What's wrong with the pitch? Challengers showed how to bat on it when they chased, and 160 looked possible on it. Any pitch would look bad if chargers played like that.
Sachinism Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 according to LKM' date=' a match that has fewer DLF Maximums cannot be considered a Citi moment of success...[/quote'] That is true. and its Mr. Modi to you
veer Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 DC wasnt playing with heart.. lot of them threw their wickets..
vvvslaxman Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 It is a sluggish pitch for sure. Spongy bounce.
gaurav92 Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 ^But not a 82 a.o pitch though Its a good cricketing surface with even competition between the bat and ball, it is the perfect pitch that one can have for the T20s
thevortex Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 A decent point actually. I thought Bangalore or even Dharamshala were better wickets. But this one was not all that bad. It aided spin but it was also not dead for pace.
